The SCENAR (Self
Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulator) is a hand held
electro-stimulatory therapeutic medical device that works by
stimulating the body to heal itself.

Scenar therapy is unique because it
interactively locates, measures and prompts problem areas in the
body (assymetries) through the skin to help relieve pain and
restore function.
SCENAR Therapy is non-invasive and
works directly and dynamically via its reflex bio-feedback and
bio-feed-forward capacity anywhere on the body. Its results with
pain, disability reduction, functional improvement, and general
health restoration are exceptional.
SCENAR therapy was originally
invented as part of the Russian Space program for use by
cosmonauts as an all-round health and healing device. Its
inventors were awarded a Lenin prize for it. It is nowadays
a main-stream medical treatment modality
in Russia and there it has very many applications.
SCENAR works by
helping the body to heal itself. As the body adjusts to many
environmental and internal influences it is said to be
maintaining homeostasis. When the body is unable to adjust to
impacts and influences it may go into physical dysfunction and
pathology. SCENAR seeks to help the body regain homeostasis by
finding and treating 'assymetries' which are tell-tale signs and
areas where homeostasis is not present. This is the central
principle of the SCENAR treatment approach and this means it can
be used to treat problems anywhere in the body.
